What is Impact Circles?

Impact Circles is a community-based diversion program providing a restorative response for youth involved in incidents of crime or misbehavior. The youth and their parent/guardian, the victim (when applicable and willing), and members of the community come together to address the impact of the incident. Trained peers and participants make decisions together as to how the youth should take responsibility for their actions through a Repair Agreement that must be completed. Referrals come from schools, juvenile justice or the community.
